For their capstone project, this year's MSRE students are evaluating the former ESCO site in NW Portland. On Wednesday, September 9, the PSU Center for Real Estate will host a panel with the public and private leaders behind the site's actual redevelopment, followed by the winning capstone team's presentation of their own concept for the property. 

Panelists: 

•Brian Ames, Walsh Construction - development team project manager 

•Brian Yarne, Mercy Housing - development team affordable housing partner (MSRE alumni) 

•Patricia Diefenderfer - Chief Planner, Portland Bureau of Planning & Sustainability

•Dan Bower, Portland Streetcar - managing the extension of the streetcar through the project site
